Octopus VCT 2 was launched in 2011 and is a limited life VCT designed to return capital to investors after five years.

Octopus VCT 2 invests in companies that focus on capital preservation and offers a clear route to exit both during at the end of the five year period. It has the ability to invest in a variety of sectors and technologies, however the focus will be to build a portfolio of investments in companies in the renewable energy sector with a particular focus on solar energy.
