Apollo VCT portfolio company story: Tendable

A digital quality inspection platform designed to support the health and social sectors.

Tendable is used across a rapidly expanding base of hospitals, care homes and other health and social care organisations in the UK and internationally. The software helps organisations like hospitals to continually drive improvements in patient care, through making quality inspections digital.

Tendable combines the clinical knowledge of frontline staff with an intuitive digital platform. This allows hospitals and care providers to better track, monitor and document their processes, enabling them to make better decisions and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

We think it’s the perfect time to be investing in this space, with COVID-19 accelerating the focus that healthcare providers have to place on clinical inspections. The combination of clinical knowledge and a digital platform has enabled Tendable to deliver best in class inspections across clinical environments at a time when it is needed the most.

There was a real opportunity to add value to the management team as they continue their journey to become a global software business. In preparation for that, Tendable has taken the forward-thinking step of developing new modules within its app and further bolstering their web platform to make their product even more scalable.
