Octopus Promise
We have two priorities at Octopus: generating high returns, and controlling risk. Whichever product you choose, you’ll find they all share certain key qualities. For a start, we never take unnecessary risks with your money. You can be sure of that, because we invest our own money alongside yours.
Secondly, instead of measuring a fund’s performance against the market (which, as we all know, can go down as well as up), we measure it against the real alternative: leaving your money in the bank. If we’re not confident we can deliver a better return than that, we won’t invest. It’s that simple.
Once you've invested with us, we'll ask you about how often we should get in touch, and how much information we should provide – so you get the level of service that's right for you. If you'd like regular updates on the progress of your investment, we'll send them. If you'd like to speak to the fund manager who invests your money, you can do that too.
And if we tell you we’ll do something, you can be sure we’ll do it.
