Andrew is a fund manager at Octopus, jointly responsible for the management of three AiM VCTs. He joined Octopus in 2008 bringing over 30 years' investment management experience. In 1973, he joined Barclays Bank to manage investment portfolios. In 1980 he joined Performance Analysis Services, specialising in quantitive investment analysis. In 1985, he moved to Mercury Asset Management, where he managed UK equities for a range of pension funds. In 1993, after a period at Hoare Govett as an analyst, he joined Rutherford Asset Management where he was responsible for managing Beacon Investment Trust from its establishment in 1994.

Andrew has an MBA from the London Business School.
